Useless Okie redneck Senator and perpetual asshole Tom Coburn is upset the government is spending $165K to assist the University of California in digitizing historical materials of the Grateful Dead. $165K! This from a total waste of GOP humanity who pours billions upon billions into the coffers of his rich buddies.
Like 'em or not, the Dead have a historical importance in the USA and worldwide. Documenting their history is beyond important. And $165 is peanuts! If Universities don't preserve cultural local history, what do we have as a society?
Even better is rightblogger, aptly named Weasel Zippers, whose case of the vapors is now a daily condition, cries out, "Obama regimes spends (sic) 165k (sic) to digitize song catalog of dirty hippy (sic) rock band Grateful Dead". At least WZ didn't call the band, "dirty fucking hippies". That term is usually reserved for Democratic politicians.
