The Winnipeg Free Press cited an "insider" as saying Stephen Harper asked for 14 tickets so he could bring some cabinet ministers to the game Sunday against the Montreal Canadiens.Of course Harper is denying any knowledge of the request.

Harper Jets snub Harper
Looks like the the new NHL franchise in Winnipeg may not be as friendly to its adoptive 'owner' and his political party as one would think. The club, dubbed the Harper Jets because of its modified Conservative logo and the aggressive manner in which that party has claimed the team as its own, only provided Harper with two of the 14 requested tickets to the Jets' home opener.

If that is somewhat like the Conservative logo, why does everyone think it is the old Air Force logo
I guess because of the jet? But turn the Con logo on its side and take away the italic slant, slap a jet over top and whamo - the Jets logo!
