Curiously, that interview appeared almost simultaneously with a report in Politico (hardly a Democratic organ) that, while head of the National Restaurant Association in the 1990s, he made inappropriate sexual references to at least two female employees.
Of course, Cain is furiously battling the accusations, at once claiming it was so long ago he can't remember or that it is all a Democratic plot, just like the one(s) that almost brought down Clarence Thomas. Missing from the denials is any sympathy, any remorse or any sympathy for victims of sexual harassment or for the accusers for that matter.
The identities of the Democrats behind the revelations about Cain's relations to former female employees have not been released.
UPDATE: OMG, this is classic Coulter. I can't believe the beauty of this. Coulter: Politico's Smear Of Cain Shows Liberal Media "Terrified Of Strong, Conservative, Black Men". Yes Ann, and how do you explain the right-wing media's pahological fear of strong, black man Obama?
UPDATE II: After strong denials, Cain now admits he was accused of sexual harassment. At least one accuser received cash settlement from National Restaurant Ass.
