"There was a lady dressed up and she was screaming my name: 'We got you Rob Ford, we got you,'" Ford said, adding that his six-year-old daughter was frightened and went back into the home.
Ford said he went back into his house and called 911.
"I didn't know who they were and obviously I've had death threats and there was a camera and a mike," he said. "I'm open to the media, but when you come to my private house early in the morning and ambush me, I think that crosses the line."Conservatives. What pussies! And hiding behind a six-year-old daughter. That crosses the line.

You see, that's the 'liberal media' to the conservatives - 4 cons (incl. two Quebecors) to 1 CBC rep. Any fewer Tory types would be too intellectually unfair.
UPDATE II. Rob Ford changes his name to Rob Fucking Ford.
UPDATE III. Marg's advice to Mayor Ford, "You gotta get a bit of guts. I dunno know, I thought he was a much gutsier kind of fellow than that."

Jayzuz, you can't make this stuff up.
The CBC should send either Rick Mercer or Mary Walsh. Either would make mincemeat out of the hacks.
I wonder who suggested taht they should try to add even a little balance. Initial reports for this panel indicated only the four. No one to represent the CBC was included.
They should send Princess Marg.
Rob told one lie, " it was dark" no it was not. Second was his daughter there?
Steve - good observations. One, it wasn't dark. Two, no daughter in sight.
But, she was a shield in Rob's mind. That's good enough for him.
Two things.
1) He talks about death threats and in the same breath says there was a camera and a microphone. Who the hell brings a news crew to a mayoral assassination?
2) Was he the one laughing off the death threats a few months ago?
