TO police chief Bill Blair wades into the Rob Ford pool. Muddies the waters.

You have to admire Bill Blair for being a loyal soldier but after the G20 fiasco, does anybody really believe anything Bill Blair says any more?

As for the 911 tape being released, I guess with the complaint lodged by the 911 dispatcher, it is inevitable. But at this point it's best that the tape remain under wraps. Rob Ford's blathering, his use of expletives and general whining on the tape will just cement his legacy as an oaf and a wimp. And how could anyone ever forget Rob Ford's cameras-as-weapons whimper:

“I’m being attacked,” Ford states.
The mayor couldn’t identify who was attacking him and was then asked if the attackers had weapons.
“They’ve got cameras,” Ford reportedly said.
His daughter reportedly screaming in the background and the lack of threatening remarks from the mayor as originally reported by the CBC makes the network look bad. Nobody wins.

Attacked by cameras! next on the Discovery Channel.

They say the camera adds 20 pounds and I'm guessing that Ford's life would be in imminent danger if that happened.

The fact that Ford will not release the tapes and made an emergency unplanned trip to Mexico should tell everyone where the truth lies.
