“What kind of man would mislead, distort and deceive just to win an election?”

“This man would: Newt Gingrich.”

That, from a new ad about to hit the US from Newt Gingrich (except the last NG bit, it actually says, 'Mitt Romney') attacking frontrunner Mitt Romney.

Which begs the question: does Gingrich have even the remotest sense of self awareness or shame? The ethically-challenged, disgraced former Speaker could be asking the titular question of himself as much, if not more, than Romney.

For anyone who watched the debate last night, the bout between Romney and Gingrich reversed course, with Gingrich looking vulnerable and Romney gaining a little of his former swagger. I guess Newt decided it was time to all in with the negative campaigning. Too bad the ad reflects back directly onto the Newtster himself.
